The Mercure Resort is the most affordable at $20 AUD for basic access, with upgraded packages adding a food and beverage credit. Can you use hotel pools on the Gold Coast without staying?

Where to stay in Gold Coast
Surfers Paradise is the most central base on the Gold Coast, close to the beach, shopping, and transport. QT Gold Coast is a design-focused option right in the thick of it. Broadbeach, a few kilometres south, is slightly calmer with the casino and good restaurants; The Star Gold Coast is a large integrated resort there.
Both day pass options on this page are away from the Surfers Paradise strip: the InterContinental is at Hope Island in the north (35km) and Mercure is at Carrara. Factor in a 30 to 45-minute drive from the central strip to either venue, and plan accordingly if you're staying centrally.

The pass includes a pool towel and bottle of water. Food and drinks can be ordered via QR code directly to your lounger. Bookings are required. Walk-ins aren't accepted.
