Crete has the widest range of pool day passes in Greece, with 12 options spread across the island's four main resort areas. Prices start at €15 for a poolside sunbed and go up to €150 for a private VIP cabana with jacuzzi. Several resorts offer all-inclusive passes that cover buffet meals and unlimited drinks, which is uncommon for Greek islands.
All-inclusive family day passes
The best value for families is in the Chania area. Kiani Beach Resort and Kalyves Beach Hotel both offer all-inclusive day passes at €35 per adult and €18 per child, covering pool access, a buffet meal, unlimited drinks, and kids club. Further east, Georgioupolis Resort & Aqua Park charges €45 per adult but adds waterslides and an aqua park to the mix.
Both Kiani and Kalyves are run by SeaCrete Hotels, so you can book through the same website. Availability is limited during peak months (July and August), so contact them early.
Beach clubs in Chania and Rethymno
Crete's beach club scene is concentrated in two areas. In Chania, Cabana Mare in Agia Marina has poolside sunbeds from €15 and VIP cabanas for groups of up to six. In Rethymno, Baja Beach Club offers a transparent pricing model with no hidden minimum spends for standard loungers.
Both clubs serve food and cocktails poolside, so you can easily spend a full day without moving.
Adults-only and luxury options
Candia Maris Resort & Spa near Heraklion offers an adults-only day pass with pool, beach, gym, and dining access. In Malia, Enorme Ammos Beach operates on a minimum consumption model (typically €20 to €30 per person) and serves sushi, Asian fusion, and shisha by the pool.
For a more upscale setting, Wyndham Grand Crete Mirabello Bay in Agios Nikolaos has beach club access from €30 and private gazebos for €80, with views over Mirabello Bay.
Waterparks with day passes
Two resorts stand out for waterpark access. Star Beach Village in Hersonissos is unique because entrance is free. You only pay for sunbeds and food, making it a flexible option for families on a budget. Fodele Beach & Water Park near Heraklion charges €30 per adult for unlimited access to its hillside waterslide complex.
How Crete compares to other Greek islands
Crete offers more variety than any other Greek island for pool day passes. Mykonos has the party scene but at much higher prices (€70 to €200+). Santorini focuses on sunset infinity pools and luxury vibes. Rhodes has waterpark and resort options at similar price points to Crete.
