Pool day passes in Naples are a niche offering compared to nearby Sorrento or the Amalfi Coast. Central Naples is a dense historic city, not a beach resort, so most hotels with pools keep them small and seasonal. Two properties currently sell standalone access to non-guests: Hotel San Francesco al Monte, a converted monastery with rooftop garden views, and Hotel Royal Continental, a bayfront tower with a rooftop pool priced by the hour.
Both pools run seasonally, roughly June through late September, and close outside those months. San Francesco al Monte charges €15 per person for the day; Royal Continental charges €5 per person per hour, capped at two hours.
Neither hotel takes online day-pass bookings. Call ahead to confirm availability, especially in July and August when demand from overnight guests fills the pool deck first.

How much does a pool day pass in Naples cost?

Can non-guests use hotel pools in Naples?
At a handful of properties, yes, but it's the exception rather than the rule. Most Naples luxury hotels, including ROMEO Napoli and its striking 10th-floor infinity pool, restrict pool access to overnight guests only. Grand Hotel Vesuvio's Echia Club pool is also guest-only, with no published non-guest day rate. Where to stay in Naples
Chiaia is the easiest base for most visitors: an upscale, walkable seaside neighbourhood with good restaurants and an evening passeggiata along the water, close enough to the Centro Storico and the ferry ports for Capri and Ischia. The Pool & Garden day pass costs €15 per person, about $16, and includes access to the outdoor pool, garden terrace, and the on-site Pool Bar. The pool operates from May 15 to September 25, open 9am to 5pm, with the Pool Bar serving from 11am to 5pm.
